Girls spend over 6 hrs daily with the horses.
Wranglers
The Wrangler Program is an equestrian focused camp session for girls who love horses. It is for girls ages 12-15 and is offered during the two week session, July 9th-21st. The expense for the Wrangler program is $300.00 over the cost of the two-week traditional camp experience.
The Wrangler program is offered for girls who want to step up from their traditional camp experience and enjoy two weeks focused on horses. The vision of the Wrangler program is to use the treasure of a girl and her horse as a tool to teach girls about themselves and their relationships with others.
Wrangler Life
Ten Wranglers will reside together in their own cabin with two Wrangler leaders. Wranglers will be assigned a horse for which they will be responsible during their stay. In addition to Western Horsemanship and Pleasure, girls will learn to feed, saddle and care for their horse. They will be exposed to speakers and equestrian demonstrations like a vet and farrier. Girls will learn how to conduct ground work in a round pin as well as experience Natural horsemanship. Wranglers may get to participate in an overnight experience with their horses on the trail. While girls in the Wranglers program will have varying activities from the traditional camp, they will sometimes join in with the traditional camp programs.
