Docs Shack

For many summers, Mayson Ransom lived in the Doc Shack, which is located adjacent to the little athletic field. In honor and in memory of Mayson, the shack will be renamed the Mayson Ransom Cabin. Since many donations have already been given to the camp in Mayson's memory, a Mayson Ransom memorial fund has been established. This money will be used to repair and update the old Doc Shack. Among the renovations will be the addition of bathroom facilities and complete underpinning which will allow the cabin to be heated in the winter. These changes will enable the new Mayson Ransom cabin to be used for summer camp as well as for retreat groups in the off-season.
