The boys and girls camps have a coed event every session.

What makes AYC and CHATTOOGA so great? We have great facilities, great activities, great staff and great food. But don't take our word for it...come to camp and experience it for yourself!

If you look in on camp the first thing you will notice is all the fun everyone is having. From games of appleknocker at AYC to incredible cookie building at Chattooga, we can't be beat! Incredibly fun things to do: jump off the blob, try our dual racing zip lines, take a trail ride on horseback or slide down slippery rock. You will have so many great memories and friends that you will not want to leave!

2011 Summer Camp Theme -Hot or Cold?

 ^15"I know you well, and you are neither hot nor cold; I wish you were one or the other! ¹⁶But since you are merely lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth!"  Revelations 3: 15-16

This summer our theme at Y Camp and Chattooga is ‘Hot and Cold'. We are going to be exploring stories of brothers and sisters who were either hot or cold for God. We will tell their stories and then ask you to think about how what happened with them might happen to you in your life.

Part of the devotion work will be for you to try to memorize these two verses. Every camper who does, will receive a bracelet to take home. When you get home, every time you look at that bracelet, remember to ask yourself, ‘Am I being hot for God?'

The stories we will look at are: Cain & Abel, Jacob & Esau, David & his brothers, Mary & Martha, and two brothers in a parable Jesus told. Each of these stories tells us about being hot or cold toward God in a different way. At the end of the week you will better understand how you live your life in such a way that you are on fire for the Lord!
