Daniel Shelton is the Retreat Director for The Athens Y Camp Retreat Center.  Originally from Rabun and Stephens Counties, Daniel is a full-time resident at camp with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Clay and Hannah. When she isn't serving as Director of Camp Chattooga, Stephanie is active homeschooling their children.

Daniel joined the AYC staff full time in 2004 after serving as a house parent at the GA Baptist Children's Home in Palmetto. Daniel also has spent time serving our country in the Marine Corp. His servant heart allows him to minister to all who pass through the gates of AYC.
